About our wines

Our wines are made using traditionally aged methods using only the finest quality, fresh fruit in season, grown on our blueberry farm in Newburne (Nova Scotia, Canada)
or from neighbouring growers in Lunenburg County, the Annapolis Valley and Nova Scotia.

Blueberry

Our flagship & best selling red for 15 years now.
We & many Maritimers like it with everything. One of the reasons for our Blue nose.

Montbeliard Pear

Our best selling white for 15 years.
Soft and gentle medium white made from Annapolis Valley pears.
Celebrating our Bouteillier Family from Montbeliard, France landing in Halifax 1751.

Honey Moon

Honey Wine. A lovely floral honey wine that pairs wells with curry dishes, a Ploughmans Lunch, Medieval feasts or Viking mead hall events.

Bear River Cherry

Medium cherry wine pairs well with ham, smoked meats, festive rich Christmas cakes. Celebrating the fame of Bear River as a cherry growing area of the past.

Rous Brook Rhubarb

Chill and serve with lamb, fiddleheads and new potatoes or fish cakes.
Makes a nice spring spritzer with sprig of mint. Celebrating the Lunenburg Landing place of the Foreign Protestants 1753.

Fundy Peach

Annapolis Valley orchard fruit fermented into ambrosia.
Nice with any summer dishes, pork, and as a sipper. Celebrating the Bay of Fundy with the highest tides in the world.

Kings Kiwi

Yes 100 % Nova Scotian, Kings County grown arctic kiwis. This wine is fast becoming our most famous and most innovative wine. Very popular with seafood and shellfish pairings.

Sou'wester Strawberry

Oh sweet june in a glass!
A favored female choice, but certainly not limited to. Nova Scotia has long been famous for strawberry cultivation. This wine makes a nice spritzer, dessert wine and with a summer salad. Celebrating both our great rain hats and the sou�wester winds that have such an effect on our Atlantic weather.

Lake Rossignol Cranberry

A tart, traditional holiday fruit & wine that pairs well with any poultry dish. Lake Rossignol is Nova Scotias largest man made lake and where all the wild cranberries for our first cranberry wines came from. The last few years we have been getting cranberries from Hermans Island near Lunenburg Town.
